Dubai, 26 August 2004 - Nissan Middle East conducted the 9 th NISTEC (Nissan International Service Technical Contest) Middle East Area Contest 2004. The contest was held at the Nissan Middle East Training Center in Jebel Ali with 11 National winners of the 10 National Sales Companies from Middle East Area as participants.
Nissan Middle East conducts the contest annually, focusing at technicians' morale to improve their skills and enhancing their efficiency and quality of service repair. The Contest also aims on the F–1 concept; “ FIX IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME ”, thereby resulting in improved service quality to achieve customer satisfaction and retain customers.
In this year's regional contest the Gold Medal was awarded to Rajeesh Raveendran (Arabian Automobiles Co., Dubai), the Silver Medal went to Ernesto Pablo, Jr. (Abdulmohsen Abdulaziz Albabtain Co, Kuwait) and the Bronze Medal was given to Parminder Singh (Y. K. Almoayyed & Sons, Bahrain).
The winners of the 2003 & 2004 Middle East Area Contests (Moufid Fuad Al-Kaasamani from Rasamny Younis Motor Co, Lebanon and Rajeesh Raveendran Arabian Automobiles Co, Dubai respectively) will represent the Middle East in the 7 th NISTEC World Contest scheduled on 31 st October 2004 in Japan.
