Arabian Automobiles Launches the all new Infiniti EX35 and M35

Dubai- United Arab Emirates (March 2008) – Arabian Automobiles Co. (AAC), flagship company of AW Rostamani Group and the exclusive distributor of Nissan, Infiniti and Renault in Dubai and Northern Emirates launched the all-new 2008 coupe-inspired Infiniti EX35 crossover and the new 2008 Infiniti M35. The new models reached showrooms across Dubai and Northern Emirates with an exceptional combination of seductive style, elegant interiors and advanced technological systems, to join the existing unique line up of Infiniti; the fastest growing Japanese luxury brand in the region.

INFINITI EX

“The all-new Infiniti EX35 is like a breath of fresh air in its segment with its breathtaking design, sculpted elegance, engaging interior and exciting performance,” said Michel I. Ayat chief executive officer of AWR automotives.

The Infiniti EX35 features the world production car debut of Infiniti’s advanced Around View Monitor (AVM) system, using four small cameras to give the driver a “top-down view” of the outside of the vehicle while parking.

Sculpted elegance, engaging interior and exciting performance, the EX35 is also rated one of the safest vehicles on the road by a leading USA authority. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's list has added the Infiniti EX35 to its “top safety pick” list, because of “superior overall crash protection” based on front, side and rear crash tests.

The exterior of the Infiniti EX35 includes many signature Infiniti touches, including a double-arch grille, large L-shaped headlights with available Bi-Xenon adaptive front lighting system (AFS), integrated fog lights, distinctive LED taillights and “dynamic arch” profile.

Its sporty proportions include a long hood, short front and rear overhangs, rearward cabin and smooth coupe-like roofline arching over the windows to the C-pillars, sleek lines that portray speed, grace and finesse. Its layout combines the look and feel of a luxury coupe and an SUV’s flexibility.

One of its unique features is “Scratch Shield,” a special “self-healing” clearcoat paint, which is designed to maintain its gloss-level over time. The paint repairs fine scratches, such as fingernail scratches under door handles restoring the surface close to its original state.
Under the dramatic body of the EX35 is an equally advanced platform and powertrain based on the latest Infiniti performance technology. Its advanced FM platform provides the same high levels of handling precision and balance as it does for the Infiniti M, FX and G Coupe and Sedan.

2008 Infiniti EX35 comes standard with a fourth-generation VQ35HR 3.5-liter V6 engine (shared with the new G35 Sedan), rated at 314 horsepower and five-speed automatic transmission with manual mode, DS sport mode with downshift rev matching (DRM), and adaptive shift control.

INFINITI M35

In addition to the new crossover (EX35), Infiniti line up just welcomed the new M35 sedan added to the M series. Replying to the soaring popularity of M45 in this market, Infiniti delivers its promise to please more customers by introducing the 3.5L engine through the new M35.

Designed with a sporty and luxurious exterior, 2008 enhancements to the M series include an unexpectedly spacious interior, a revised front and rear fascia, grille, rear fender panels, rear deck lid and taillight design, new chrome accents, new side sill cover and guard moulding, and new sport aluminium-alloy wheels.

Inside, the new 2008 M35 includes an upgraded Infiniti navigation system with touch-screen function, new white instrument panel lighting with violet accents, white and violet interior lighting and a revised stone-coloured interior.

In addition to the advanced navigation system, other available M technology includes Bluetooth hands-free phone system, an Infiniti information display with LCD screen with easy-to-use controls and rear view monitor.

“Infiniti M35 embodies the essence of power and sophistication, surpassing both industry standards and consumer expectations of a luxury sedan,” said Ayat.

“The Infiniti M is designed to give its drivers an exhilarating experience, an expression of power, refinement, technology and design – all the things that make Infiniti owners’ hearts pound. The M captures the soul of the Infiniti brand, expressing it in invigorating, forward thinking ways.”

“The low, aggressive hood line of Infiniti M, which flows into the anchored shoulders and fluid roofline contributes to the sporty, powerful silhouette,” added Ayat. “There’s a solid, muscular look to the design, fitting of its vibrant performance, yet a refined, high quality feel worthy of an Infiniti flagship.”

When the Infiniti M45 was introduced for the first time in 2006, it captured essential elements of both a luxury performance sedan and an award-winning sports sedan. Its performance is equally engaging in the V8-equipped M45 or V6-equipped M35 with the award winning VQ engine that is also found in the G35 and FX35.

Ayat attributes the runaway success of the brand to the luxury and style that have become synonymous with Infiniti. Infiniti sales in Dubai and Northern Emirates grew by 58 per cent last year spearheaded by the extremely popular FX35 SUV crossover and the sporty G sedan, along with support from the full size QX56.

“In addition to the exclusive total ownership experience enjoyed by its customers, Infiniti has maintained an exceptional programme of new product introduction and advanced technology that owners and drivers are taking to heart,” he said. “This is very evident in the upward trend in the sales graph – and it’s still rising.”

Infiniti is now established as the fastest-growing luxury brand in the region and sales are expected to receive a further boost with the introduction of coupe-inspired all-new EX35 and new M35.

The 2008 Infiniti M35 and EX35 are now available in Arabian Automobiles showrooms across Dubai and Northern Emirates.
